Alexis Ashworth, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity HRM recently participated in a Habitat build in El Salvador.

The Habitat home builds in Canada are much different than those conducted by Habitat International in other countries around the developing world. Although the goal is always the same-- to provide safe, affordable housing for those in need-- the building methods, structures and processes are very different depending on the build location.

Alexis learned first-hand about the differences when she worked on a home build recently in San Vicente, El Salvador. Check out pictures from the experience!
